Converting landing pages/websites

A good structure for success

Even the best website is of little use to you if your customers or users either don't find it or find it but leave very quickly before they become active (lead, direct sales, etc.) or otherwise interact with you, i.e. convert. Especially if you spend money on digital marketing and use Google Ads, for example, to lead users to certain landing pages, these should be structured in such a way that the bounce rate is very low and the completion rate very high, regardless of whether you are selling a product, offering a white paper for download or want to collect a contact from a prospective customer. This is what landing pages are all about:

  • A clear goal: What should happen when a user comes to this landing page? The page is then optimized based on this, from the texts to the CTAs (call-to-actions).
  • Attractive design: The user must be visually impressed by your landing page. It can also happen that we have to deviate from the layout of the main website for a landing page. Really good images are a must!
  • Crisp, convincing texts: There is usually no room for long SEO texts on the landing page. The key here is to convince the user quickly, clearly and comprehensibly to book your service, buy your product or contact you.
  • Technically flawless implementation: Very good loading times, full functionality on mobile devices and at least the basis of UX should be a matter of course on your landing page.
  • Testing is key: A/B tests can be used to identify any weak points and ensure that the landing page is really tailored to the target group.
  • Optimize, optimize, optimize: User (and search engine) behavior is constantly changing. That's why your landing page needs to be constantly analyzed in order to identify optimization potential and then implement it.
